What is your primary product or service?
Wholesale distributor for quality manufacturers of water treatment equipment such as liquid metering pumps, pH and conductivity controllers, flow sensors, drum pumps, hand-held testers for the industrial water markets. We cover a 3-state region (GA, AL, TN) and also offer equipment evaluation and repair.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Hawkins & Associates is a privately-held small business. The president, Buddy Hawkins, graduated from Georgia Tech in 1975 and has been with Hawkins & Associates for 39 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our business-to-business company is unique in our industry in that we provide assistance with proper application of our products, maintain local inventories and are here to assist our customers after the equipment has been installed. We are big believers in establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at this time. Expansion is always a possibility.
Provide detailed directions to your location
From I-285 on the northside, take Peachtree Industrial Blvd north for about 6.5 miles. Turn right onto Reps Miller Rd. and drive for about 1/2 mile. The entrance to our office complex is the last left before the road ends.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, most major credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We cover Georgia, Alabama and the eastern two-thirds of Tennessee.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Scott Mann is our Vice President for Operations.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
